In order to do our part to help prevent the transmission of Covid-19/Corona Virus in our community, we are implementing the several safety protocols, effective immediately.

These protocols are meant to address the very real risk of human-human (even asymptomatic) transmission. It is important to note that, at this time, there is no evidence that dogs are in danger of transmitting this virus to each other. If we implement good safety practices with each other, there is no reason our dogs can not continue to enjoy the company of their playmates at daycare or while boarding.

SANITATION

Disinfection of our facility, doors, latches, gates and tools will increase in frequency and always occur before and after pickup/drop off times. In addition to hand washing throughout the day, our staff will wash their hands upon arrival for work and in preparation for pickup and drop off. Staff are practicing proper respiratory etiquette (i.e. elbow/tissue sneezing and coughing), not only around each other and our clients, but also with your dogs. Much as it pains us, we will avoid kissing and hugging your dogs, substituting instead, fun and activities that keep us connected and smiling.

DROP OFF/PICK UP

Pick Up/Drop Off Times - 7:00 am to 9:30 am and  4:00 pm to 5:30 pm

Drop off will be at the south entrance (fenced area facing Lexamar Dr.). Please call when you arrive, put your dog inside the fenced area, remove his collar and leash-this stays with you. Leave food/and or medication (labeled with dog’s name and dosage) in the plastic tote with your dog's name on it. Once your dog is in the fenced area, our staff will come to get him and his belongings.

Pick up will be the same procedure, only in reverse. Call when you arrive, and your dog and his belongings will be brought out to the fenced area. You can enter the fenced area with his collar and leash to retrieve your dog. If you need assistance with getting your dog in your car, please let us know when you call.

BOARDING DOGS - FOOD/MEDS/BELONGINGS

Food:
If your dog requires food during his stay, we strongly recommend bringing food from home. Any food you bring must be pre-portioned in individual bags with your dog’s name on it. If food is not brought from home, or your dog runs out of food during his stay, we can provide a dry dog food for $1.50/meal. We do not offer wet food, if your dog requires wet food or is on a special diet, it must be brought from home. We provide healthy treats by a variety of vendors. If your pet is on a special diet or a limited ingredient treat, please bring them. We provide food bowls and water pails, please do not bring bowls from home.

Medication:
All medication must be prepackaged in baggies or a weekly medication container and labeled with your dog's name as well as whether it is an A.M. or P.M. dosage.

Belongings:

Please limit personal belongings for your dog to food, medication, one stuffed and or chew toy, one T-shirt or bath towel for the “home smell”. We have raised beds and quilts for bedding.

I never take my three rambunctious dogs anywhere but dogs world! They are always so happy when we pull in and seem so happy when leaving as well. I can tell they are well cared for and given ample attention here.
